PRODUCTION MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our KZN team!

As the local industry leaders of customized kitchens, we have seen major changes in the industry over the past 25 years. At present there is a shortage of skilled Kitchen designers in the industry, while on the other hand there are more qualified interior design professionals than ever before. 

 

While kitchen design is not ordinarily a sector interior designers work in, we believe that the general skills possessed by these professionals are for the most ideal for the kitchen industry, and because of this, we believe that skilled Interior Designers are the future of our industry.

Package and Requirements

​Package

​

  • Basic Salary will be dependent on past experience and a proven sales record.

  • Commission (8% on kitchen sales including installation and vat. This commission structure is significantly higher than the 10 % to 15 % of gross margin as paid by other kitchen companies)

  • 5% on granite/quartz sales including installation and vat, 5% on in-house Italian Falmec and Elica extractors, 5% on Sige Accessories and 5% on in-house Blanco sinks

  • Permanent position in the manufacturing sector

Requirements

​

  • Matric/Grade 12 certificate

  • Graduate qualifications in interior design preferable

  • Computer literacy: Full Microsoft Office suite; Email

  • Ability to work on one or more of the following design programs: Articad/Planit/Winner. If you are not trained in any of these programs, we are willing to make an exception for outstanding candidates.

  • Experience in Kitchen design/sales is essential. (This is not a trainee position)

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Exceptional project and time management skills
